Women's shirts, contrary to appearances, the history of women's shirts is not long at all. Not so long ago, shirts were exclusively for men, while blouses were sewn for women. Of course, one can argue that it is just a matter of name. But when you look at what styles blouses are used in and what shirts are used in, the differences become clearer.

Women's shirts - essential in bold and official styling

Women's shirts are most often an element of official and elegant styling. Instead of blouses, which are usually quite thin and rather light, shirts refer to patterns taken from the canon of male elegance. They are more decisive, have a slightly heavier cut and go better than blouses, for example, with jackets. Of course, a lot depends on what material the manufacturer of women's shirts sews them from. In general, however, it will be true that while blouses go great with skirts, shirts look better with trousers. Women's shirts are also an essential element of the most formal business stylings. In this case, blouses have been rather relegated to the background as lighter and less elegant. Of course, this is again a matter of taste, but there is some truth in this generalization.

The shirt closest to the body

You can see in the offers of women's shirt wholesalers and their manufacturers that shirts are mainly sewn from materials that are warm to the touch. Often either from natural fabrics or blends with a predominance of natural fibers, especially in the slightly higher price segment. Importers of women's shirts often import clothing made from synthetic fibers. But it usually does not match the elegance or comfort of natural ones. Why is this happening? Unlike blouses, shirts are designed to be worn during the slightly cooler season. Of course, this is a purely arbitrary distinction and not always true.

However, shirts are supposed to provide comfort, not lightness. They cannot restrict movement, however. They are designed primarily with classic elegance in mind and do not leave designers too much room to maneuver. Natural fibers, which better dissipate heat and moisture, are best for this purpose. This is important because, unlike blouses, shirts will most often be covered with a jacket. Importers of women's shirts of course have a lot of clothing to offer that eludes such a strict description. However, it is also worth distinguishing between typical women's shirts, the formal and elegant ones, and slightly more avant-garde proposals.

Women's shirts - How many shirts do you need?

On the one hand, to stock up your wardrobe well, it would be best to visit a women's shirt wholesaler. One is usually not enough. Women who often wear shirts need at least a few. However, it is also worth looking around directly at the clothing manufacturer. The selection will probably be slightly smaller than in a wholesaler. Polish men's shirt manufacturers often set the bar much higher than foreign manufacturers and are able to offer truly perfectly tailored clothing.

It is worth going for the first women's shirt immediately after buying a suit. In fact, nothing will go with it as well as a properly fitted shirt. Some manufacturers sell entire sets, i.e. a suit with a shirt. Most often, however, it is worth choosing the shirt separately. This gives you the opportunity to stand out with your outfit, because such full sets are usually very formal and rather predictable. Women's shirts, on the other hand, allow for a bit of freedom. They are indeed top-shelf clothing, but when it comes to aesthetics, women are allowed more than men. The choice of color versions or finishes will be much greater.

Importer, wholesaler or manufacturer?

A manufacturer of women's shirts, especially a Polish one, usually has a not very extensive offer, but products of excellent quality. An importer of women's shirts gives a large selection, but some importers will have cheaper, slightly less elegant products. The largest selection is usually provided by a wholesaler, but it is definitely not possible to make individual purchases everywhere. Even though today wholesalers usually also conduct retail sales or at least on a moderately large scale. Take all this into account and remember that prices are not always an indicator of quality. Focus primarily on the fact that the shirt you choose for yourself is sewn from good material and carefully. It's better to slightly increase your budget to buy a really elegant top-shelf shirt than to save a few zlotys and buy a shirt that won't fit well and won't wear well.

If you decide to buy a women's shirt from a manufacturer, remember that there are unfortunately relatively few companies that sew really good shirts. The shirt still loses to the blouse in terms of popularity, which is why their selection is also slightly smaller. Nevertheless, by properly choosing other elements of your outfit, you will be able to create many interesting styles with it.
